China: Here Are Some Great Things About Toxic Air
Time.
"1. It unifies the Chinese people.
2. It makes China more equal.
3. It raises citizen awareness of the cost of China’s economic development.
4. It makes people funnier.
5. It makes people more knowledgeable (of things like meteorology and the English word haze)."
China state media under fire for arguing benefits of smog
Reuters.
"While both pieces have since been deleted from their websites, Chinese newspapers lost little time in denouncing their point of view, in an unusual case of state media criticizing other state media, showing the scale of the anger."

China Adopts Board-Game Strategy to Blunt U.S. Pivot to Asia
Bloomberg. (Gaaanz fiese westliche Hetzpresse, ja doch...)
"The strategy features such steps as the air-zone declaration that fall short of direct confrontation yet in time alter spheres of geographic influence"
The Mandarin In The Moon
Libertarian Enterprise.
"Something drastic has to be done. The simplest thing would be to build a military base on the Moon amidst the howls and screams of so-called "progressives" and the genocidal scum at the United Nations. Forget the pseudoscientific wimps and halfwits at NASA. Turn the Navy loose. "

You can be put to death for atheism in 13 countries around the world
IHEU.
"12 countries in Africa, 9 in Asia, and 10 in the Middle East, were given the worst rating for committing "Grave Violations". Some of these governments were found to openly incite hatred against atheists, or authorities which systematically fail to prosecute violent crimes against atheists."
& hier noch ein etwas älteres Stück für unseren Selektivleser laogai:
Green China? It Leads the World in Adding Renewable Electricity
Bloomberg Businessweek.
"From everything we’ve read in recent years about China’s insatiable thirst for energy, you might think the world’s No. 2 economy is going even bigger into coal than renewables, but that’s not the case, at least according to the IEA. The agency predicts that China’s share of global coal consumption will actually shrink a bit from 2011 to 2035."
Diese verdammte westliche Hetzpresse aber auch...
